Joan Ellen Milne

It is with heavy hearts the family of Joan Ellen Milne announce her passing on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Radway Long Term Care at the age of 89 years. Joan was born January 27, 1936 in Toronto, Ontario to Cpt. John Milne (RCAF) and Edna Teresa Milne (nee Brown)

Joan is survived by her daughter, Barbara Anne Guy; son, John Gilbert McCloskey; grandchildren, Jeremy, Christopher, Anjeanette, Tamara, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Haylee, Hunter, Austin, Daemen, and Rome; great-great-grandchildren, Jerzrey, Autumn, Ace, Maverick.. and still more on the way; very special friends, Maryann and Doug Reed; as well as so many many extended family, and friends.

Joan was predeceased by Parents, Cpt.John Joseph Milne (RCAF) and Edna Teresa Milne (nee Brown); daughter’s, Joanne Ellen McCloskey and Patricia Cecilia McCloskey; granddaughter, Jordyn Leslie McCloskey; and dear friend, Erwin Bonkowski.

Erwin Bonkowski
April 22, 1938 ~ February 16, 2023

With sadness, those that loved Erwin Bonkowski announce his passing on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the age of 84 years at the Redwater Hospital. Erwin was born to Alfred and Olga Bonkowski near Warsaw, Poland on April 22, 1938.

Erwin is survived by his dear friend, Joan (Joannie)children; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; Joan’s children, Barbara Guy, John McCloskey and their families; his siblings, Erma Brum, Hugo Bonkowski, and Helmut BonKowski; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Erwin was predeceased by his daughter, Susanne; his parents Olga and Alfred Bonkowski; and his siblings in Poland.
