Harry Tancowny passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 83 years. He was surrounded by close family at his bedside. Harry was born in Lamont, Alberta on November 2, 2025 to Andrew and Mary Tancowny.

He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Vina.

Harry was the head of a five generation family.

He is survived by his sons, Blair (Cheryl), Trevor (Lorraine), and Tracy (Sharon). He was predeceased by his daughter, Teri (Barry).

Third generation grandchildren, Madelaine, Michelle (Mike), Joseph (Sydney), Amy (Matt), Tyler, Jamie (Kristen), Kristin (Tim), Kailee, and Connor. Predeceased by his grandson, Tanner.

Fourth generation great-grandchildren, Cyrus, Michael, Ryleigh, Ty, Rheya, Keira, Addison, Keegan, Emmett, Anabella, Natalia, Rhett, Harrison, Lucas, and Alyssa.

Fifth generation great-great-grandchild, Aries.

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Mary; his siblings, Nick, John, Peter, Bill, Mike, Joe, Steve, Annie, Katie, Rosie and Doris.
