With heavy hearts the family of Doreen Mary Larson (nee Stuart) announce her passing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the age of 84 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jacqueline, Cheryl (Gary), Stuart (Mai) and Angela (Bart); seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine Bruns; brother, Ray (Lorna) Stuart; brother-in-law, Pius Sieben; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Doreen was predeceased by her sister, Carol Sieben; parents, Carl and Rosella (nee Williams) Stuart; and brother-in-law, Wes Bruns.

Doreen had a special bond with her grandchildren and loved when the great grandchildren would visit her offering them rides on her wheelchair. Her passions were reading, crossword puzzles, cards and travelling including places like Japan, Scotland and finally getting to go to Disney World as an adult. She loved Mickey Mouse.

At Doreen’s request there will be no funeral and she will be laid to rest in early summer at the Ponoka Cemetery.
