It is with great sadness that the family of Debra Delores Lacroix (nee Elkow) announce her passing on Sunday, February 1, 2026 in St. Albert, Alberta, at the age of 72 years.

Debra was born on October 23, 1953 to Andrew and Rose (nee Nahamko) Elkow in Two Hills, Alberta.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years, Gerry Lacroix of Morinville, Alberta; sons, Curtis (Tricia) of Lamont, Alberta and Chris (Crystal) of Edmonton, Alberta; step daughters, Tina (Joe) of Leduc County, Alberta and Kim (Chris) of Stony Plain, Alberta; step sons, Jason (Kara) of Edmonton, Alberta and Jared of Edmonton, Alberta; her sisters, Linda Taschuk of St.Paul, Alberta, Dellas (Jeff) Ripley of Edmonton, Alberta, Krisanne Turner of Bruderhiem, Alberta, and Shelly (Sean) Turner of Edmonton, Alberta; As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Debra was predeceased by her parents, Andy and Rose Elkow.

Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Life will be held in April.
