It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Prokopyshen on March 20, 2026, at the age of 92 years.

Born on April 25, 1933 in Waugh, Alberta to Mike and Pauline (nee Grandish) Prokopyshen.

Frank lived a long and meaningful life marked by hard work, resilience, and integrity. He was known for his strong character, quiet wisdom, and steady presence. Throughout his years, Frank approached life with determination and a practical outlook, earning the respect of those who knew him.

He is survived by his long-time partner, Nancy Krysa. Frank was the last surviving sibling of eight, predeceased by Julia, Caroline, Walter, Marie, Joseph (Lucille), John, and Peter. He is also remembered by many nieces and nephews.

He appreciated the simple things in life and valued time spent in conversation, sharing stories, and reflecting on a lifetime of experiences. His thoughtful nature and enduring spirit left a lasting impression.

Frank will be remembered with respect and fondness by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
