January 12, 1958 ~ March 31, 2026

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of James Robert Allen announce his passing on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the age of 68 years.

James is survived by his sisters, Marjorie (Patrick), Audrey, and Linda; brothers, Hugh (Rita), and Bill (Shannon); grandson, Michael; many nephews, nieces, extended family, and Patricia’s daughter Sabrina.

He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Sadie Allen, and recently, by his loving life-partner, Patricia Topolniski.

Jim was born in Bon Accord and lived in the area most of his life. He worked over 20 years for the Town of Bon Accord and 18 years for the Town of Gibbons, he also helped with farm work in his spare time.

He was an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and all outdoors activities. He loved working on any kind of equipment.
