Patricia May Stimson (nee Martin)

May 8, 1942 – March 15, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Stimson on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Her death was sudden and unexpected, she will be sorely missed. Patricia leaves behind to mourn her passing her mother, Clara Martin (nee Castle); husband, Darrel; her children, Beverley (Garry) Kalyn, Brenda (Donald) Kieser, Wayne (Wendy Sonnenberg) Kirk, and Joni (Dean) Ward; grandchildren, Chad (Rae), Lindsay (Brad), Dustin, Brad (Jacque), Jennifer, Trevor and Larrissa (Alex); great grandchildren, Brooke, Ben, Beckett, Bryden, Taya, Milly, Emilia, Gloria, Isaiah, James, Tyler, Ava and Logan; siblings, Rosemary, Lorraine, Kenny and Tony; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, Russell Kirk; father, Clifford Martin; and brother, Gary Martin.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or the Alzheimer’s Society.

Arlene Francis Dery (nee Olson)

January 6, 1943 – March 4, 2017

On Saturday March 4, 2017 Arlene Francis Dery of Redwater, Alberta (formerly of Camrose) passed away at the age of 74 years. She is survived by her children, Christine Markley, Robert (Sherri) Dery, and Kevin (Teresa) Dery; grandchildren, Melanie Markley, Megan Markley, David Dery, Chayse Dery, Kameron Dery, Brennan Dery, and Kyle Dery; brother, Gary Olson; sisters, Brenda Olson, and Debbie (Fred) Meldrum; sister-in-laws, Barb Ohlsen, and Helen DeVries; as well as numerous extended family and friends. 

Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Edward Dery and parents, Martin and Ethel (nee Evelina) Olson.

Dwayne Gilbert Henderson

February 18, 1945 ~ January 29, 2017

With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Dwayne on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 71 years of age. He leaves behind his son, Dwayne (Janet); step-children, Chris Aubin and Joanne Aubin; 4 grandchildren; Roselle Quesnal, Alexander Quesnal, Tyler Reeder, and Ashley Reeder; 2 sisters, Sherry-lynn (Clifford) Sabourin and June (David) Derouin; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Patricia; his parents, Gilbert and Irene (nee Bourbonnais) Henderson; his sister, Sharlene (Bolton); and his brother, James.

Donald John Dembicki

May 29, 1949 – January 07, 2017Donald passed away with loved ones by his side after a brief struggle with cancer at the age of 67.He is survived by his daughter, Shannon and her children; sister, Clara (Bill) and family; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. He will be especially missed by his cousins, Kim (Calvin), Karen (Brian), and their families.

A special thank you to Norwood Palliative Care and Mike, for their professionalism and compassion.Don was a kind and gentle man and will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Edmonton, AlbertaMarie Christensen passed away peacefully at age 73 years. She leaves to mourn the loss her three children, Dwayne (Shawna), Larry, and Rhondelle (Doug); six grandchildren, Tanya (JJ), Jamie, Jenna, Kyle, Amber and Kurtis; two great grandchildren, Ty and Nolan; four sisters, Germaine (Richard), Lorraine (Robert), Rejeanne (Mervin), and Angel (Syd); two brothers, Lucien and Joe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Marie was predeceased by her husband, Ron Christensen; son Brian; parents, Rene and Marie-Anne (nee Brisson) Gagne; brothers Richard, George, Alphonse, Victor and Arthur.

Marie was a wonderful, kind hearted woman, who was always there to help when needed. Her positive attitude, and her wisdom, was her trademark. She loved travelling, and being with her family, and her friends. She was involved with acting in skits at the senior’s center, playing bocce ball, floor curling, crib, bingo, and helping as a volunteer in various activities.

Maurice Gagne

December 30, 1952- October 19, 2016

Maurice passed way peacefully in his sleep in the arms of his loving wife Sherry, surrounded by his family and close friends.

He will be greatly missed, lovingly remembered, and honored by his wife, Sherry; children, Amore (David Garnett-Bennett), Breanne (Jason Anderson), Cody (Jennifer Perkins); nephew Ron (Shandy Poulin); as well as his cherished grandchildren, Cameron, Zea, Reilly, Samantha, Syler and Ruby. He is also survived by his mother, Gertrude Hartry; sisters, Alma (John), Elaine (Mark), and Lucille; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Maurice was predeceased by his father Alphonse and brother Normand.

It was Maurice’s wish that no public memorial be held.

Marvin Joseph Kosinski

September 9, 1950 – July 30, 2016

Marvin is survived by Jo, his loving wife of 43 years; his son, Dylan (Leah); grand-daughters, Andi-Mae and Josie-Gray; brother, Rodney (Nancy); many close family members and dear friends.

Marvin is predeceased by his father, Joseph Kosinski; mother, Annie Kosinski; and sister, Colleen Kosinski.

 Marvin grew up in Daysland, Ab. He began his work at Northgate Pontiac/Buick at the age of 18 when he moved to Edmonton. He and Jo where married on July 6, 1973. The birth of their son, Dylan soon followed in January 1974.  They moved to Bon Accord in January of 1975 where they made their home. For the following years he was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He spent his time finishing the interior of their western style home, countless hours coaching baseball and hockey, and restoring classic cars.
