On Tuesday, November 26, 2024 David Allen Fraser, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend passed away at the age of 65 years.

Dave was born on June 9, 1959 in Edmonton, Alberta to John and Evelyn Fraser. He, along with his 10 siblings, were raised in Gibbons, Alberta. At the age of 19 Dave met Cindy at a party and a few years later on July 10, 1982 were officially husband and wife. In 1986 they welcomed their daughter Kyla and in 1989 their son Travis.

Dave had a love of sports, playing on every men’s league he could find with all his buddies. He curled men’s league in Gibbons, played hockey for the Spartans/Pilboys, baseball on the Tigers, Animals, Bad Company as well as in MESA for the Sunlife team.

Dave also had a love for Nascar and got to experience it live in Daytona Beach, South Carolina, Phoenix and Las Vegas. Dave was such a proud grandpa to his six grand-kids. Calling to pick them up for a sleepover just because, playing catch, watching their sports events, family vacations, and more recently camping trips and fishing on the pontoon boat. Dave enjoyed many family trips to Orlando, Florida, memories that will be cherished forever.

Dave is survived by his wife of 42 years Cindy; his two children Kyla (Chris) and Travis (Riehen); grandchildren Adalee, Blake, Campbell, Briggs, Lawson and Stetson; his brothers Bud and George; sisters Pat, Wendy, Jan and June; along with many close friends and extended family.

Dave was welcomed home by his father John; mother Evelyn; brothers Ren and Johnny; sisters Nan and Kay; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
