May 21, 1946 – November 17, 2020

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Dennis Koska announce his passing on November 17, 2020. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Maureen; sons, Rob (Stephanie) and Randy (Paula); his grandchildren, Zachary, Briana (Jordan) and Avery (Jayna); his brother and friend, Ray (Christa); sister, Diane (fishing buddy), sister-in-laws June, Barb (Jack) Arlene; brother-in-law, Dale (Donna); his Uncle, John; numerous loving nieces and nephews; as well as lifelong friends, Ken and Donna Mullen; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary (nee Strutynski) Koska, sisters, Judy Koska and Lorraine Koska; and brother, Ken Koska.

Growing up Dennis loved to visit the family farm where he spent time hunting gophers and chasing muskrats, his close friends soon gave him the nickname “Farmer” a moniker that stuck with him throughout his lifetime. Dennis always had a love of being outdoors; he loved his acreage and enjoyed getting out on the tractor, always joking that it took two or three beers to cut the grass. Dennis was also an avid curler, loved hockey, golf and fishing especially ice fishing.

Dennis worked for fifty-five years in the Autobody Industry, starting with Healy Motors and retiring at Fort Saskatchewan Autobody where he worked alongside his son Rob. Dennis retired from that body shop 3 times but kept going back just to help out where needed!

Due to the current Covid situation a cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life maybe held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donations in honor of Dennis to a Cancer Society of your choice.
