March 27, 1960 ~ February 18, 2021

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Doris Marie-Jeanne Morin (nee Charest) of Morinville, Alberta on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at the age of 60 years. She passed away peacefully in her home with her children and husband at her side, finally receiving her angel wings.

Doris will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband of 41.5 years, Roger Morin of Morinville, AB; children, Michelle Morin (Nolan) of Morinville, AB, Melissa Rondeau (Christian) of Morinville, AB, Joel Morin (Stacy) of Sturgeon County, AB; grandchildren, Cadence Duschene, Daylan Naidoo, Jaydan Naidoo, Ella Naidoo, Mélodie Rondeau, Joseph Rondeau, Dominique Rondeau, Ryder Morin, Danyka Morin; great-grandchildren, Adelynne Rondeau, Isabelle Christie-McIntyre, Adrian Christie-McIntyre; brothers, Denis Charest (Helena) of St. Albert, AB, Raymond Charest of Wetaskiwin, AB, Yvon Charest (Louise) of Legal, AB, Colin (Marlene) Charest of St. Albert, AB; father-in-law, Aime Morin of Onoway, AB; brothers-in-Law, Dwayne Fawcett of St. Albert, AB, Chris Puff of Calahoo, AB, Richard Morin (Eleanor) of Smoky Lake, AB ; sisters-in-law, Doris Bouvier (Don) of Whitehorse, YK, Jeannine Ives (Lane) of Onoway, AB; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.


Doris was predeceased by her father, Eugene Charest on January 17, 2005; mother, Rita Charest (nee Cóte) on February 19, 2020; sister, Linda Fawcett (nee Charest) on September 11, 2020; mother-in-law, Rita Morin (nee Schaub) on December 17, 2006; sister-in-Law, Nicole Puff (nee Morin) on May 6, 2016; nephew, Mark Ives on October 9, 1991; and niece, Amber Sjoberg-Grant on January 21, 2021.

Celebration of Life

As per Doris’s request cremation has taken place and a
Celebration of Life was held on March 11, 2021
at The Father’s House Church in Morinville, Alberta
