It is with profound sadness and broken hearts the family of Gerald Owen Scott announce his sudden and unexpected passing on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the age of 79 years.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his children, Coralee (Dennis) McCarty and Jeffrey (Stacy) Scott; grandchildren, Erin Scott(Jack St. Pierre), Brandon Scott, Bowden Scott, Thelma Scott, Christopher (Gabrielle) Sebjanic, Stephanie Sebjanic (Nick Withey); great-grandchildren, Callie St. Pierre, Jackson Withey, and Lincoln Withey; his siblings, Valma Lee, Wesley (Sonia) Scott, Verna Holdner, George Scott, Larry (Valerie) Walker, and Laurel Walker; sisters-in-law, Doris Scott and Eleanor Scott; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Clinton and Irene (nee Mitchell) Scott; brothers, Clifford Scott, Bruce Scott, and Ronald Scott; brothers-in-law, Ed Lee and Ed Holdner; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Scott.

As per Gerald’s wishes cremation has taken place and at this time no formal service is to be held.
