He is predeceased by his parents, Elam and Phyllis (nee Loftus) Gillingham; father-in-law, John Kelly; and brother-in-law, Jack King.

Gerry was a wonderful, kind-hearted man who was always there to lend a hand and whose home was always open. His big eyes and soft smile were always waiting for you at the kitchen table. His love for being in front of the stove cooking up a scoff was one of his trademarks. He loved Sunday drives, being outdoors in the woods, being with friends but most of all he loved his family.

Gerry will be remembered and forever loved by all who knew him.
