March 6, 1948 ~ January 1, 2024

Gordon Edward Bomersback, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend to many, passed away on January 1st, 2024 in St. Albert, Alberta at the age of 75 years. He was born on March 6th,1948 in Westlock, Alberta to his loving mother Helen and father Frank Bomersback.

Gordon’s adventurous spirit and love for travel were evident throughout his life. He cherished every moment spent exploring new places with friends and family by his side. His passion for driving on the open highway led him to a successful career in trucking where he made countless memories and lifelong friendships along the way.

His free-spirited nature extended beyond driving as Gordon found joy in riding his motorcycle through scenic routes and embracing the freedom of the open air as the greatest Road Captain to “keeping six” with his biker family and friends. His sense of humor brought light to those around him and created an atmosphere filled with laughter and warmth.

Above else, Gordon cared deeply for his family; showing them unwavering love, respect and honor throughout his life, also as they brought him so much joy. His memory will live on through his children, Britney, Janel, Trevor (daughter-in-law Jerri-Lea); grandchildren, Terris and Dayton; brothers, Arty (Bonnie), Randy, Kenny (Moe), Richard, Dennis (Cathy), and David; sisters, Janice (Don) and Dianne (Ward); and many nieces and nephews will always cherish their memories with him.

In this time of mourning let us remember not only our loss but also celebrate a life well-lived—a man who embraced adventure wholeheartedly while holding dear those closest to him.
