It is with heavy hearts the family of Helen Margaret Reber (nee Smecko) announce her passing on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the age of 97 years.

Helen Margaret Reber (nee Smecko) was born in Pila, Czechoslovakia to Stephen and Mary (nee Bartosche) Smecko. Her parents brought her to Canada in 1928. Helen is survived by her brother Arnold Smecko; her daughters Evelyn Werner and Carole Giberson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was predeceased by her son Lawrence Werner; daughters Sharon Webb and Darlyn Vickers; sisters Tony and Trudy; brother Emil Smecko; her parents Stephen and Mary Smecko.
