August 14, 1930 ~ June 24, 2025

It is with deep sadness but with a great assurance in the promises of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, that we announce the death of Horst Werner Maass on June 24, 2025, age 94 years.

He died peacefully with family at his side. His rich legacy lives on through his family including his wife, Frances; his children, grandchildren, great grand children, and nieces and nephews. Especially Mariya, Sofiya, Jack and Annie who were “his sunshine”. His memory will also be cherished by his family in Germany.

A special thank you to the Westlock Healthcare Centre, Dr. Frigon and all of the nurses and staff, especially nurse Hannah who provided compassionate care and comfort in his final days.

A private family service has already been held.
