March 12, 1938 ~ April 7, 2025

It is with heavy hearts the family of Juliette “Julie” Renee Saunders (nee McCauley) announce her passing on Monday, April 7, 2025 at the age of 87 years. Julie was born on March 12, 1938 in Barrhead, Alberta to Richard and Mary “Betty” Elizabeth (nee Mortelette) McCauley. She attended first grade in Brookland School next door to her home. She attend grade 3 at Kerrisdale School in Vancouver, British Columbia, while staying with her aunt Mabel. She later returned to Barrhead where she would graduate as Valedictorian of her class. Five years later on June 25, 1960 she married the love of her life Albert. Together they would welcome five children. Julie will be forever remembered and lovingly missed by her husband of 64 years Albert; children Stephen, Alan, Anne (Rex), David (Darcy) and Donald (Nancy); grandchildren Emma, Ryan, Trent, Mallory, Marshall and Ivy; her sister Faye; her brother Gordon (Linda); as well as numerous extended family and friends. Julie was predeceased by her parents Richard and Mary (nee Morelette) McCauley.
