It is with great sadness the family of Linda Gay Lukan (nee Howerton) announce her passing on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the age of 68 years.

Linda was born in Manning, Alberta to William and Darlyne (nee Hodgson) Howerton, Linda grew up together with her siblings, Wendy, Cody, Dale, Wes, Lea Ann, and Guy. The family moved to Pine Point in 1970, it was there that Linda met her husband Gerry Lukan. They enjoyed an active lifestyle and were involved in many community organizations in Pine Point, they also enjoyed dirt biking, camping and visiting friends and family. Tragically, Gerry was killed in a workplace accident in 1984.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Brian (Deanna) and Lana (Scott); her grandchildren, Kaylee, Matthew and Brandon; her siblings, Dale (Raymond), Wes (Cathy) and Lea Ann; as well as other family and friends.

Linda is predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerry; her parents, Bill and Darlyne; sister Wendy; and her brothers, Cody and Guy.

Celebration of Life

In lieu of current covid restrictions a Celebration of Life will be held in May 2022,
please RSVP to Brian before May 1, 2022.

Inurnment
Linda will be laid to rest next to her husband at the
Notikewin Vale of Peace Cemetery
north of Manning, Alberta at a later date.
