October 7, 1944 – April 1, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Benjamin (née Miller) on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in Leduc, Alberta. She was born on October 7, 1944, in Brampton, Ontario.

Lois was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend. She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Kemper; her second husband, Vernon Benjamin; her mother, Edeleen Agar (née Karn); her father, Roy Miller; and her brothers, Alvin, Leslie, and Glen. Lois is survived by her children Terry Kemper (Lisa Bartel), Darren Kemper (Jennifer Kwong), and Andrea Marinic (née Kemper). She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren Matthew, Megan, Ella, Mabel, Charlie, and Damian; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Lois was known for her kindness, her gentle nature, and her gift for listening. She was the heart of her family—a devoted daughter, a nurturing and supportive mother, and a proud, loving grandmother. Her warmth and compassion touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she held dear.
