June 14, 1964 – January 10, 2025

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Willier at age 59 years in Edmonton, Alberta, on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Shirley was born June 14, 1965 in Edmonton, Alberta to parents Joesph Willier and Yvonne Willier (neeTwin). Shirley was the oldest out of 3 children, her sister Christian and brother Kelvin.

She loved to travel and always had a strong sense of wanderlust in her youth, never staying in one location for too long. Her later years were spent with her partner, Rollie Giroux in Kinuso, where she was an avid gardener and baker. She enjoyed the quiet life with him, creating the home she always wanted. Shirley also enjoyed spending time with friends and was always the first to offer congratulations and support to everyone in her circle. She always had something to say about any topic and was often sought out for advice. You knew she would pick up the phone if you called. She was a proud mother and grandmother who celebrated every accomplishment of her children no matter how big or small. She loved her family, her children and her nieces and nephews.

Shirley is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Yvonne. She is survived by her partner Rollie; children Stephanie, Nolan, Samantha, her adoptive son, Tristen; her granddaughters Isabella and Vivienne; sister Christian; her brother Kelvin; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

A huge hole is missing from the people she loved and knew. She will be strongly missed.
