It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne Rhoda Mickey Brissard on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the age of 75 years. She passed peacefully, with her dear friend Larry by her side, after complications from COPD.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Joy Meinzinger (nee Swanson); her son, Will Swanson; and the rest of her family.

Yvonne will be remembered for her feisty character, strong spirit, and the way she loved deeply and fiercely.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. She will be spread in places that were meaningful to her, and a memorial tree will be planted by her children in her honour.

Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace and free.
