December 25, 1937 ~ June 8, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Christa Warnecke on Monday, June 8th 2026 our most beloved, kind and beautiful Mother, Wife, Oma and Uroma. She was the guiding light, the rock and the very heart of our family.

She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, strength and resilience. Her most cherished role and pride of joy was that of a Mother, Oma and Uroma.

Christa is forever lovingly remembered by her Husband, Hasso; her Children, Joerg (Elke) of Germany, Frauke (Dave), Silke (Brian), and Ingo (Iris);

her Grandchildren, Calvin (Randa), Orm, Jason, Shaun, Jovan, Christie (Steve), Ylva (Kai), Marvin (Ashley), Norman (Nicole), Dylon, and Taylor;

her Great Grandchildren, Ava, Tola, Liam and Easton; her Sister, Ursula; her nephews, Uwe (Bettina), Dirk ( Karin), Olaf ( Klaus ), and Thorsten (Ines); her niece Anja all of Germany and many other Family members and Friends.

Christa was predeceased by her Parents, Wilhelm and Sophie Hagemeier; her mother-in-law, Engel Warnecke; her Sister-in-law, Hiltrud Wolter; and her Brother-in-laws, Heinz Wolter und Holger Bredemeier all of Germany.

Christa’s family would like to thank the EMT’s for the many rides to and from the Hospital, the doctors and nurses at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, and the Westlock Hospital for their compassion and kind care, especially Dr. Mydeen and Dr. Chooi, Jhyd, Noelle, April and Kristie (ER).

Honouring Christa’s wishes, Cremation and a private family service will take place.
