March 8, 1941 ~ July 14, 2026

It is with great sadness the family of Glenda Marilyn Lewisch (nee Hope) announces her passing on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the age of 85 years. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her husband of 57 years, Karl Lewisch; Son, Greg (Lyndee) Lewisch; her brothers, John Hope and Ralph (Violet) Hope; her friend, Dianne Mah; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Glen and Amy (nee Smith) Hope; sister, Dianna Case.

Glenda’s love of art began at a very young age and she was a talented artist with a love for horses, this showed through in her numerous artistic pieces. She had a love of reading and could often be found with a book in hand. Glenda enjoyed nature, being outside, and spending time in her garden.

The family of Glenda would like to thank the staff at Redwater Health Center for the care they provided to Glenda during her time there. As well as the support and compassion provided to the family.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation be made to the Redwater Art Society, box 664, Redwater, Alberta T0A 2W0 and/or the Radway Public Library, Box 220, Radway, Alberta T0A 2V0 to honor her passion for art and reading.

At her request cremation has taken place.
