Joseph “Joe” Shae Bohaychuk

October 7, 1996 – November 13, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beautiful son Joseph.

Those who knew Joseph even just a little bit, have lost a shining light in their lives.

In addition to his parents, Kyle and Kim; he is survived by his brother, Noah; his two sisters, Brooklynn and Madisen; his Great Grandma, Addie; as well as his Grandparents, Karen, Rena and Clint. He will also be sadly missed by his Uncle Monte, Uncle Trav, and Auntie Trina; as well as many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family and so many friends.

We take comfort in knowing that Joseph has joined his Gido (Ted), his Papa (Roy) and his Papa Rick in Heaven. We know that we will see him again one day.

We will miss his kind, kind heart, his beautiful brown eyes sparkling with laughter and his contagious smile for the rest of our lives. But most of all we will miss his hugs. Joseph gave the best, most tight hugs. He never said Hello or Goodbye without one and he never hesitated to say the words “I love you”.

Joseph had a God given gift of making people laugh and smile. He was always joking around and being goofy just to watch someone else laugh. His natural mechanical ability and love of working on trucks (actually anything that had an engine) was a huge part of who he was. Our boy has always loved all things adrenaline filled; dirt biking, quadding and most especially drifting in his truck. Snowboarding with his family was something he never passed up. Any chance he got, he would be shooting things, fishing, hunting and hanging out with his friends or family, all while singing with any of the many songs he would have blasting out of his phone.

Joseph had so much goodness and so much capacity to bring happiness and helpfulness to those around him. The world is a lesser place without him.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”
John 5:24
