Dave Wallace passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, and the world got a lot quieter without him.
If you knew Dave, you knew where to find him: out on a long countryside drive, hunting for old Jeeps, or turning up with a Tim Hortons coffee in hand. He was the person you called when life got hard — steady advice, a joke at exactly the right moment. He was funny and caring, always the first to help, and he loved all his animals. He worked for the Town of Morinville for many years, and he loved the outdoors — never happier than at his favourite place, the lake lot, where he spent every minute he could. He was a father figure, a trusted friend, and “Papa Bear” to those who loved him best.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shari, and by family and friends who loved him like one of their own.
