1941 – 2020

On Monday, July 13, 2020 the Lord, in His infinite wisdom and mercy took unto Himself Jannetje at the age of 78 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Jerome, her son Gerardus and husband Jacobus Gerardus.

She is survived by her 4 children and their spouses: Corinne (Ron) Vervoort, Arlene Calvelage, Jacob Calvelage and Jacobus (D’Arcy) Calvelage; 10 grandchildren, Antoine Mariage, Marc Mariage, Eric Madu, Andy Madu, Christopher Calvelage, Diane Madu, Meaghan Leigh Calvelage, Casey-Marie Calvelage, Shawn Calvelage and Brent Calvelage; 8 great-grandchildren, Tehya-Renae, Gauge, Kaiden, Ronan, Aubrey, McKenzie, Barett and Koa-Lana; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Jannetje was born in Renswoude, the Netherlands to Jacobus and Aartje van den Brink on the 18 ^th day of December 1941. She was the second child of 9, Otto (deceased), Albert, John (deceased), Trudy, Gerda, Wilma, Gary (deceased), and Jack. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her parents, brothers, and sisters. She met her first husband on her way to Canada and married in 1958. Together they had 5 children.
