Joseph Georges James Mahoney was born at 2:43 p.m on Sunday, March 2, 2025, and passed back to heaven and our Creator shortly after. His mommy and daddy, Kaela (nee Chatry) and Liam Mahoney, held him, felt his heartbeat, and saw his tiny limbs move. But his strong will to live just wasn’t enough for his little body to sustain.

Joseph’s family will remember and love him always grandparents Steve and Jaaki Chatry, Laura (Bill) Gourlay and Tim (Sylvia) Mahoney; great grandparents Dave Leslie, Eric Mahoney, and John Chatry; aunts Dayna McGeachy and Nichole (Andrew Kubik) Gourlay; uncles Connor (Kerri) Mahoney, Devin (Emma) Mahoney, Colin Chatry and Jordan (Briana) Gourlay; cousins Alyson, Evan, Daniel, Dominic, and Harrison. Greeting him in heaven were great-grandparents Mimi Maureen Leslie, Jean Mahoney, Archie and Enez Hladik, and Joan Chatry.

Joseph lived a short and perfect life, knowing only deep love. He will always be cherished.
