May 27, 1958 – August 17, 2018

Raymond Lyle Dyck passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 60 years of age. Ray will be forever missed by his wife, Naomi; son, Trevor; stepson, Ryan; 3 grandchildren; brother, Lawrence, Richard, and Adrian; brother in-law, Steve; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Ray was predeceased by his father, Eric; mother, Evelyn; brother, Eugene; sister, Louella; in-laws, Arthur and Dorothy; and nephew, Vincent.

Ray was born and raised in Saskatchewan, lived in Northwest Territories, then came to Alberta in 1990. He worked hard, played hard, and was what he would refer to as “a happy camper”. His favorite saying was that you should be happy 100% of the time and if you weren’t, then make a change.

In July of 2017 he was diagnosed with Lung and Liver Cancer. He fought it as hard as he could and on August 17, 2018 his suffering ended. He can now party with his family and friends who have passed on before him. Ray will be missed by all.
