Kyle Andrew Velsink

August 26, 1991 ~ January 21, 2024

It is with heartbreaking sorrow that the family of Kyle Andrew Velsink announce his passing on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the age of 32 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, John and Chris; sister, Kaitlyn; grandparents, Andrew and Jean Hood, Bev Hood and Al, and Engelina Velsink. He will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

Kyle was predeceased by his grandfather, Gerhard Velsink.

Kyle was born and raised just East of Gibbons, Alberta. He was a big guy with an even bigger heart, he could enter a room and brighten it with his smile, his attitude or just his presence. He loved his Harley, slurpees, McDonalds, but most of all his family and dog Nicco. Kyle made friends easily and once you were his friend you were a friend for life, he had many very dear to him. He was always so great with kids, a result of him being a big kid himself. You could always count on Kyle to be there to offer a helping hand, no matter the time of day. He lived his life on his terms. He listened, but did not take advice. There are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger and just live a little better, Kyle was one of those people.
